Hello and welcome!

So a little "About Tammy": I've been immersed in the arts in one form or another since I was 5 years old. Starting off with the piano and gradually picked up the flute and piccolo, I won 1st and 2nd place in state contests for piano solos, flute solos, and flute ensemble. Once in high school, I stopped entering the state contests, but continued musically in the symphonic and marching bands. It was in high school that I had to finally make a choice between athletics and the arts, so I gave up competitive volleyball, track, and swimming and joined the theatre group as a techie. I worked tech for 4 years, never stepping on stage as a performer until the last 2 years there (as a dancer).

I had no theatre association throughout college when I was earning my undergraduate and graduate degree, but upon moving to the East coast after graduation, I ventured back in, this time as an Assistant Stage Manager. After that first show, I started auditioning as an actor, and it's been ongoing and nonstop ever since.

I joined the Screen Actors Guild in early 2007 after working on Pride and Glory (Edward Norton/Colin Farrell) and have been focusing more on film lately, though I'm always keeping an eye out for a good theatre production to do. I've had the opportunity to work with major distributors as Walt Disney Pictures, New Line Cinema, and 20th Century Fox. I'm an EMC candidate as well, steadily working my way towards Equity.
